Current fields can come from models, while coastal water levels may use observations and predictions. The interface distinguishes measured readings from modelled water movement, and data are not uniformly available worldwide.
Ocean exploration
Visual ocean experiences and marine discovery are educational. Photographs can be archival or regional and must not be presented as live video of an exact underwater location.
